Welcome everyone!!

    We are 2nd Chance, a Christian Southern Rock, Blues, Praise and Worship band.

 We came up with our name, 2^nd Chance because all of us by knowing our Savior

have been given a 2^nd Chance. We got together 3 years ago when God placed on

Steve's heart to get together a band with the vision to reach the lost. In obedience

to God Steve asked Willis Lockwood to play lead guitar, Kenny Parnell to play

drums, and Wayne Perciful to play bass, with Steve Phipps playing rhythm guitar

and lead vocals. Since the forming of the band we suffered the loss of Wayne a

great friend and bassist. Wayne went on to play bass for God and we are sure he is

rocking them pearly gates. (you go Wayne!!!) Since the loss of Wayne we have

added a new bassist Christopher Adams. We are a band that is solely out to build

the Kingdom of Our Lord God by reaching the lost through our music. We as a band

have been influenced by bands such as Third Day, Lynyard Skynyard, CCR, and

The Rolling Stones. In fact we have taken a lot of the songs that we enjoyed

listening to and gave them a 2^nd Chance by rewriting the songs and putting

Christian lyrics to them. We also do covers by various Christian Artists such as

Third Day, FFH, and many others. We are all members of New Hope Christian

Fellowship in Ponca City, OK. In which we all reside. We are lucky to have a church

that backs and supports us as much as New Hope does. We would like to say a big
